THE ROSCOE PROJECT

We started as Facebook friends in a group for Equine Artists. And we have become so much more!

Leslie Becker suggested that we pick one photo and each of us paint it in our own way. Would be interesting to see what everyone did with the same image.

Many photos were submitted to pick from. The photo picked for all of us to paint was "Roscoe" by Ann Jeffree.

Beth Campbell suggested that we set up a website to sell our work and donate the proceeds to charity. Sounds simple. Then we realized that the artists involved are from all corners of the world. It was hard enough to pick one photo - how could we ever pick just one charity?

So, for this first project - we will leave that decision in the hands of each individual artist.

And so - our idea has begun.....

Each of the artists involved will donate a portion of the sale of their work to the charity of their choice and will provide the purchaser with a copy of the receipt from that charity as proof that the donation was made.

All sales are strictly between the purchaser and the artist.
